What we offer
- We operate a congregate residence in South Edmonton for 50+ persons who have experienced homelessness due to social, physical, mental challenges, including addiction challenges.
- The University Avenue Residence is located along bus routes, walking and biking paths and is close to shopping, medical facilities, and the social centre of Edmonton; Whyte Avenue.
- Part-time work opportunities.
- We also provide an Outreach Worker to assist residents in navigating any Government Programs regarding income support and health.
Housing Eligibility
- Individuals making less than median income which includes, but is not limited to the working poor.
- Have been homeless or are at risk of becoming homeless.
- Advocating for the provision of housing and related services for people in need
What is Included in the Rent?
- Residents are provided their own private room complete with all amenities
- Free Food and personal care products.
- Utilities, refrigerator, stove, washer & dryer, and WIFI.
- Heated smoking shack, barbeque and deck,
- Heated work shop with tools and equipment.
- Support Personnel to help them with day-to-day challenges.
